About
Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Andrew Furey, his wife and pediatric emergency room physician, Dr. Allison Furey, and orthopedic surgeon Will Moores travelled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti after the earthquake where they spent a week volunteering. After returning from that mission, he formed Team Broken Earth, a task force of physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists devoted to providing aid in Haiti. The organization has continued to develop and has expanded its operations to other countries such as Bangladesh, Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua.
